Jimmy Allan Wilson
March 28, 1954 - September 28, 2015

Jimmy "Jim" Wilson, 61, of Fort Dodge, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at Fort Dodge Health and Rehab Center.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2015 in the Chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Snook officiating. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Jim is survived by his children, Erin (Mary Lou Warner) Wilson of Des Moines; Sean Wilson; Joe DeBoer; Cameron Wilson, all of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Tyler and Korben DeBoer; sister, Connie Jo Wilson of Fort Dodge; brother, Robbie (Dorine) Wilson of Burnside; and best friend, Shelley Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldon (Beak) and Mary (Ayala); grandparents, Gilbert and Irene Wilson; Juan and Leanor Ayala; Fred and Amy Cartee; brother, Randy Wilson.
Jimmy Allan Wilson was born March 28, 1954 in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1972. Jim married Gail Carlson on October 26, 1973, and the couple later divorced. He was then united in marriage to Shelley DeBoer on May 7, 1993. The couple established their home in Fairmont, MN and returned to Fort Dodge in 1997. Jim loved tending to his vegetable garden and enjoyed cooking. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing and camping. Jim was also an avid Atlanta Braves baseball fan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
