Elnora Mae Hansen
November 27, 1928 - September 28, 2015

Elnora Mae Hansen, of Lakewood, died Monday, September 28, 2015 at Nu Roc Healthcare Center in Laona. She was 86 years old. She was born on November 27, 1928 in Buchanan County, Iowa a daughter of Thomas and Myrtle (Lawless) King. She married Glen Hansen on March 7, 1948 at Vinton, Iowa. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2012.

She was a graduate of Vinton High School with the class of 1946.

In the early 1980's Mrs. Hansen moved to the Lakewood area and owned the Yamaha snowmobile and motorcycle dealership with her husband.

She was a member of the Wabeno American Legion Auxiliary Post #44 and served as president of the Future Homemakers of America while living in Freedom, Wisconsin.

She had a passion for woodworking and creating scroll saw projects. As a seamstress, she made dresses for her granddaughters. She enjoyed being a homemaker, reading and solving jigsaw puzzles.

Survivors include two daughters, Lynnette (Karl) Kilgas, Kaukauna, Renee (Dennis) Eisch, Killeen, Texas; two sons, Craig (Randi) Hansen, Kaukauna, Rod (Kim) Hansen, Lakewood; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; and brother, Frank (Iva Jean) King, Walker, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Russell King, and sister, Evalyn Bickford.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home in Antigo with her son-in-law, Rev. Dennis Eisch, officiating. Burial will take place in Forest Home Cemetery in Townsend. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
