Theodore Pauls
August 28, 1940 - October 6, 2015

Theodore Pauls, of Antigo, died Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 75 years old. He was born on August 28, 1940 in Wausau, a son of the late Theodore Pauls and Helen (Mackaway) Gavitt. He married Josephine Fleischman on February 18, 1977. She survives.

He was a graduate of D. C. Everest High School and a proud member of the High School football team.

Mr. Pauls was an avid outdoorsman and thoroughly enjoyed all forms of hunting. He was a longtime supporter of Duck's Unlimited and the National Rifle Association and had a passion for vehicles.

In addition to his wife, survivors include three sons, William (Tamara) Pauls of McLean, VA, Todd (Joann) Pauls of Wausau, Ted (Annette) Pauls of LaGrange, WY; two daughters, Lisa Pauls of Chicago, IL, Sheila Pauls of Seattle, WA; five grandchildren, Derek, Hayley, Myre, Breann, Sarah; and a sister, Barbara Bird of Rothschild.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in the Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church in Hoffmann Hall.
