Mr. John R. Norman, 51, of Peoria, Arizona and currently residing in Burlington died Monday, October 12, 2015, at his home.
Born June 25, 1964 in Bay Shore, New York, he was the son of John R. and Dorothy (Maynard) Norman.
Mr. Norman was of the Catholic faith. He was a union commercial painter and was a member of International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Local #676 and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Mr. Norman was funny and easy going. A big teddy bear who was larger than life, he enjoyed time spent with his nieces and nephews.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Norman of Arizona; his father, John R. Norman of Florida; one sister, Nicole DuBois of Arizona and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister Barbara.
The memorial funeral service for Mr. Norman will be 3 p.m. Sunday, October 18th, at Regency Mortuary, 9850 West Thunderbird Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351.
According to Mr. Norman's wishes, cremation has been entrusted to Lunning Chapel.

"i have so many memoriesi of John growing up. He spent a lot of time at my house. he was friends with my four children.He had a special personality and when he walked into a room the room would light up. you would never know what he was going to say.He would call me from time to time to see how we were doing.He took it bad when we lost my daughter Debbie. john and Debbie were very close .I remember last mothers day he called me to wish me a happy mothers day it was the last time I spoke to him. I will cherrish that memory. Then he faced booked me a picture of his camper and truck. he said things were going good. He was a surviver always.I feel he is in a better place. May he rest in peace.. I will never forget him and he had a heart of gold loved his laugh and the great smile he loved his family they meant everything to him. to know him is to love him he touched many many lives R.I.P Mrs. P."
