"Thanks for all the good times in Florida for Art & I . I am so sorry."
"My sincere condolences to the Jason family. I always considered George to be the best director and always a pleasure to work with him when I was in VTR. Sorry that I never made the Florida reunions. He did a good job in TVMCR as a Temporary Technician too."
"George welcomed me when I joined the WCAU-TV directing staff in 1961 and was a valued friend for the 15 years I was there. He and Loretta hosted us often in later years in Florida when we came down from NJ for those great Channel 10 reunions. I've finally returned to Pennsylvania (Shannondell at Valley Forge, a retirement center near Audubon) and now find those wonderful memories of the golden years in television make for great yarns!"
"Loretta and family: grief may be blessedly short-lived, but the memories - and love - last forever. Especially for someone as wonderful as George. I have fond memories of George serving mimosas as Don cooked for the Ch. 10 crowd. He was the BEST!!"
"George was very inspirational to me when I first started working at WCAU-TV. Just by sheer luck, I attended and became a member of United Methodist Church of Bala Cynwyd which George was also member. His presence and support made me and my family feel even more welcomed. He has always been a terrific and supportive person and a great teacher. "
"George Jason was a patient teacher and mentor for me at WCAU TV when I first went to work there. I will always remember him for that. "
"George trained me on the back camera and also simulcasting duties at Dania Jai-Alai. I loved and enjoyed listening about his broadcasting days. He was an excellent teacher and mentor who took pride in his work and how he treated others. A super worker and a person who taught me more about people and their lives then he knows. I have nothing but fond memories of our Dania Jai-Alai days. He always took the high road in life. He will be very much missed by many."
"George was the premiere director at WCAU-TV when I was a page/copyboy/teleprompter typist in the newsroom When I was finished with my duties, I always loved sitting in the booth and watching him direct the 6:00 and 11 News with John Facenda. Watching him inspired me to pursue my dream of becoming a television director. I've spent the past 35 years directing live and taped television in Los Angeles. It's been quite a ride and I look back on those years watching George in the booth with fond memories. "
"I am sorry for your loss and will keep you in my prayers. George and I were good co-workers and understood the meaning of respect and excellent work ethics. I will miss sending my little notes to him and send my condolences to the entire Jason family.. "
"We are sorry for the loss of your dear George, please accept our sincere condolences to the family. May our great God, Father and Friend... comfort you and be with you at this difficult time. (Psalms 34:18)"
"When the enemy death strikes your grief can be great. It's never the right time to say goodbye to a loved one. Death too to many seems to be a part of life. It's during times such as these that we can find comfort in the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:9, 10 ~ "Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth". Only God's (Psalms 83:18) Kingdom can bring peace, happiness, perfect health, and everlasting life. "
