Eileen Artz
February 3, 1924 - November 5, 2015

Eileen Gladys Artz, of Rothschild, died Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Evergreen Place in Wausau. She was 91 years old. She was born on February 3, 1924 in Antigo, a daughter of the late Paul John Sr. and Gladys (Bowen) Fritsch.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School.She worked at the Dairy Bar in Antigo, then in Milwaukee at Allis Chalmers for a short time during World War II. She later was a secretary in her father's logging camps.

She married Clarence DeLyria on Dec. 31, 1945, he preceded her in death on April 29, 1953. Eileen married Leonard Bombinski on Oct. 20, 1956 and they lived in Marinette and Langlade. He preceded her in death on May 3, 1992, at which time she moved back to Marinette. She married Donald Artz on July 13, 2002 he survives.

Eileen loved music, dancing, writing her memoirs, and her Christian faith.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Artz; two sons, Steve (Noo Pin) DeLyria, Marinette and Tony (Elizabeth) DeLyria, Katy, Texas; a daughter, Cynthia Bombinski, Rhinelander; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Bonnie (Kenneth) Brandt, Spooner; a brother-in-law, Leroy Dyson, Antigo; six step-children, Marlene (Harvey) Brown, Thomas (Diane) Artz, James (Debra) Artz, Bruce (Nancy) Artz, Steve (Peggy) Artz, Cathy (Dave) Treutelaar and many step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, her two former husbands; a sister, Dorothy (Leroy) Dyson; brother, Paul Fritsch, Jr.; niece, Vicki Brandt; and a great-niece, Madison Leigh Brandt.

A funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home. Burial will take place in the Queen of Peace Cemetery, Antigo. Visitation will take place from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
