Charles "Charlie" Raduenz
July 11, 1945 - December 21, 2015

Charles "Charlie" Raduenz, of the town of Elcho, died Monday, December 21, 2015 at home. He was 70 years old. He was born on July 11, 1945 in Bloomington, Illinois a son of the late Lenore Raduenz. He married Kathy Kelly on October 26, 1996 in the Town of Norway. She survives.

He was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Manitowoc with the class of 1963. He earned an associate's degree from Dunwoody College of Technology.

Mr. Raduenz began his professional work life with Cutler-Hammer in Milwaukee. He later worked for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for 32 years as a maintenance electrician. He volunteered as an EMT for the Waterford Fire Department. He retired from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in 2004 and worked part time as a grounds crew member at Rivermoor Golf Club in Waterford.

He was a member of the Wind Lake Lions Club in Wind Lake.

The most important thing in his life were his children and grandchildren. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved his dogs: Rhoda, Elfie and Sam. He especially cherished his dog Sam. He was a skilled woodworker who enjoyed crafting special gifts for friends and family. He enjoyed following Wisconsin sports teams and was well known for his sense of humor.

In addition to his wife, survivors include daughter, Heather (Bob) Ambacher of Mukwonago; son, Chuck (girlfriend Beth) Raduenz of Waterford; two step-daughters, Andrea Kapp of Milwaukee, Colleen (Chris) Huebsch of Mukwonago; sister-in-law, Kelly Kmichik of Elcho; seven grandchildren, Reese and Julia Raduenz, Charlie, Henry and Maxwell Ambacher, Kyle and Mollie Huebsch; two cousins, Curt Christensen of Minocqua, Peter (Donna) Christensen of Waterford; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and brother-in-law, Ronald Kmichik.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at noon at the Bradley Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Elcho Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
