Germaine Brown
June 2, 1927 - December 30, 2015

Germaine Brown, of Antigo, died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Aspirus Langlade Hospital under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was 88 years old. She was born on June 2, 1927 in Bryant, a daughter of Henry and Emma (Belott) Brandt. She married Ray Brown on January 8, 1955. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1975.

She worked at the family restaurant and the glove factory both in Antigo.

She was employed at Langlade Memorial Hospital as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 24 years followed by providing in home health care for the elderly.

Survivors include a son, Duane Brown of Antigo; two sisters, Margie Probst, Milwaukee, Elaine (Richard) Oak, Bass Lake; a brother, Everett (Peg) Brandt, Antigo; .

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death a daughter, Debra Brown, two sons Robert Brown and James Brandt; two brothers Eugene and Carroll Brandt.

The family will greet friends on Tuesday January 5, 2016 from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home followed by graveside services at Elmwood Cemetery.
