"My wife and I met Dan more than 20 years ago, his bar was only a few doors down from where we lived at the time. We had a ball there and liked Dan very much. When we got married we brought the family members into the bar after the ceremony and Dan gave us a bottle of Wine and he really got a kick out of our nieces performing dances and plays to the sound of his juke box. He later added polka music to the juke box because of them, or so he said. We really, really missed him when he moved away and the bar was never the same again. Are deepest heart felt prayers go out to his wife and family. Rest in piece Dan."

In these last few weeks I had the honor of leading you and Mom in a prayer to recieve Jesus into your hearts, and that will always be a very special rememberence for me! I thank you both for making that decision. I thank all of our family, friends and co-workers for all of their love, hugs prayers and support during this time. "Dan Wicka, what can ya say about a guy that could shoot one of the best games of pool I've ever seen, raise a terrific family, and make friends to no end. Our hearts go out to his loving wife of 51 yrs. She was a trooper down to his last hr.We had the pleasure of meeting 2 of his children, Dan jr.& Barbara when Dan was in the hospital here in Bullhead. I offered to play him in a game of pool for $100, he said make it $200. I'm glad he didn't have a cue with him. Minnesota Fats look out. Till we meet at the best pool table in the sky, I'll continue to chalk up."

"The world was a better place because you were in it Uncle Dan. Please make sure to give Dad a BIG HUG and KISS from all of us, Uncle Charlie too~ I can not imagine how much the after life realm is going "ROCK" now that the three "WILD WICKA BOYS" are back together again. Seems strange, we lost Uncle Charlie in his 30's, Dad passed at age 50, now you at age 70~I guess it is true only the good die young~you all will remain FOREVER YOUNG. LOVE and MISSING YOU~your niece, Billee Jo Wicka-Davis"
