"What a teriffic guy! He was our very favorite uncle and a must visit every time we came home from Washington State. He was always so happy to say hello and gracious to all. Always had to know how agriculture was doing, especially dairy, was doing in Washington state. It was always great to see Joe, Mark and Cate when we arrived. I remember well when Cate did raw brat for our homecoming on a hot weber grill. It was her first time and the roaring fire was impressive. Uncle Frank just laughed and said they would be done for sure. He was a wonderful, caring and gentle man. Full of good stories and always a ready laugh. We will miss him a great deal. "I remember Frankie when i was young we bought starter calfs from him to raise. Also the years that he spent on the township board as a very fair and understanding member. He was a fun person to be around and always had a big smile. Don't be sad that he is gone but rejoice with the thought that he was here for the rest of us to know him."
