"I met Connie when she was about 13-14. I had begun going out w/her older brother David Klassen and for the age diference between us she and I became best friends. She would come visit when I lived in Plainview, on my days off. She was not very intersted in school, her was too live and laugh. We did alot of that, especially on our "School Trips" to Nelson, Wisc. I wasn't yet leagal to drink in MN and she wasn't legal to drink, but somehow she and I figured out that it MUST be okay for both of us to drink in Nelson. She and I maintained a very close relationship throughout so many years and she was one of the 1st people I would look up when I would fly home to MN. We always laughed...And Connie NEVER sneezed just once, it was always 3 sneezes, no more no less. I was heartbroken when I heard and am grateful to have signed her guestbook. I loved her way back when we 1st met and I will love and miss her, ALWAYS AND FOREVER, Lu Anne L Young"

"I had not seen Connie for awhile, but everytime I did she was always there to give me a great big hug and always wanting to know how the family was doing and how I was. I will miss that, but will never foget and always remember. Tara & Alex, I am so very sorry for your loss and I hope you know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers and if you need anything at all I am here! Here is a poem that I just love so I wanted to share it with you, it is so very true! In Our Hearts We thought of you with love today. But that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday. And days before that too. We think of you in silence. We often speak your name. Now all we have is memories. And your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake. With which we'll never part. God has you in his keeping. We have you in our heart.. Love -n- God Bless Always, Your friend, Brandy "

" When somebody dies, a cloud turns into an angel, and flies up to tell God to put another flower on a pillow. A bird gives the message back to the world, and sings a silent prayer that makes the rain cry. People dis- appear, but they never really go away. The spirits up there put the sun to bed, wake up grass, and spin the earth in dizzy circles. Sometimes you can see them dancing in a cloud during the day-time, when they're supposed to be sleeping. They paint the rain- bows and also the sunsets and make waves splash and tug at the tide. They toss shooting stars and listen to wishes. And when they sing wind- songs, they whisper to us, don't miss me too much. The view is nice and I'm doing just fine. ~Ashley "

"I am Connie's California cousin. My father is her late mother's younger brother, Earl Stettler. With the recent passing of Faye, my Aunt, this comes as a big surprise. I've only been around Connie a few times, and have met her daughter Tara. Family is family and even though far away my heart aches for her immediate family. I loved my Aunt Faye and Connie as well. May her body be comforted from all sorrow and pain. My blessings are with my family that has lost someone special. Amen."

"I met Connie when she waitressed at Rainbow across from St. Mary's. She always had a smile on her face and something to say about Tony, her boss. I didn't see her for quite a few years, until she was in the hospital a few months back. I didn't even recognize her. She thanked me over and over for visiting at St. Mary's with her and discussed all the terrible things that she'd lately been through. God Bless you Connie--Your new world is pain free."
