"I remember as a young child being mesmerized watching you and listening to you play your many instruments. I listen to your CD that you made for me and today still enjoy it just as much. Remembering the visits to the nursing homes with Otto so you could play for the folks, going to the races in St. Charles to watch you, Uncle Vernon, and Uncle Noel race (even mom, Aunt Shirley, and Aunt Betty got in the action for the poweder puff races!), the family reunions in the Arches when Grandpa and Grandma were still here, the farm with the bigger-than-life roosters that used to scare me and, of course, you being there with me when I had my surgery for cancer. Too many memories....miss you already. Love, Ida"
