"Aunt Phyllis made us feel so welcome when we visited. She always paid special attention to us kids. I loved touring her gardens with her. Even the flowers loved her. My favorite memory is the wonderful song she wrote for my wedding to Mike. I keep a copy of it and read it every year. I tried to come to her service but the weather did not cooperate. Sorry I could not be there with you. The three sisters are together once again. We miss them all."

Daryl & PJ Thompson wrote on Oct 25, 2010:

"We extend our deepest sympathy to the entire family in your loss. We know the angels are singing because Phyllis has joined the choir in heaven. We will miss her ever-present, spontaneous, toothy smile! What we continue to enjoy is the joyful influence she had in your lives that will always live on. God's blessings to all of you. Daryl & PJ"

"My Aunt Phyllis always made all of us kids feel right at home and we loved to go and visit her. We share many fond memories of her gardens and having BBQ's in her and Uncle Bert's backyard in Rushford. Now she is joined once again with her twin sisters who adored her, my Mom Joyce and Aunt Joy. May they all rest in Peace together. We miss them all dearly."

"Family of my Aunt Phyllis - You have my deep sympathy. These last years I missed the nice letters I received at Christmas time from Aunt Phyllis. She would tell me about her flowers and how sometimes deer would come and eat some of them and about the cat she welcomed into her home. I remember her words she wrote and I will always remember her as a beautiful gracious lady in every way. I enjoyed the visits that her and Burt would make to our Spring Valley home and the good time mom and dad would have visiting with them. Was always special to have them come. Was so good to see her and the twins at the Bublitz reunion I believe she put together for family. So glad my son took me there. Was a good time. I don't drive much anymore, so don't know if I will get to the funeral. I remember where Burt was buried, so if my children take me for a drive next spring, I will pay my respects and love to her and Burt. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. God comfort you. Love, Cousin Marilyn"
