Willard J. Trester
February 9, 1919 - September 16, 2008

Willard J. Trester, 89, died Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at Sauer Memorial Home in Winona, MN. Willard was born February 9, 1919, in Warren Township, near Wyatville, MN, to George and Adella (Prange) Trester. He married Bernice Bublitz on June 14, 1940, in Wilson, MN. Willard was a longtime farmer in the Lewiston area. He was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Lewiston. Willard enjoyed fishing, golfing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice; two sons, Richard (Jeannie) of Lewiston, MN, and Ronald (Jean) of Winona, MN; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and sister, Delores (Earl) Duncanson of Lewiston, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Clarence.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2008, at 11:00am at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Lewiston with the Reverends David Fischer and Michael Lindemann co-officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson Lutheran Cemetery in Wilson, MN. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
