You knew how to strut your stuff down the hall too, most of the time we knew when you were coming because you made your presence known. It's tough knowing we won't see you in school on monday doing your normal Shauna stuff. You will be missed very dearly and we love you with all our hearts! You left too soon for us to handle, but we know that God wouldn't have called you home unless we were ready for you to be gone. Our class is standing strong you don't need to worry. Just keep your watchful eye over us and keep us safe and as one. WE LOVE YOU SHAUNA!!!! love, the class of 2011"

"shauna, shauna, shauna. my beautiful friend. where do i even begin? you are definitely a light in my life my dear. we have so many great memories together and i am never going to forget them. all the times we spent at the park, subway, my house, your house, kwik trip, or just walking around town looking for something to do. you were always the one to tell me that i need to follow my dreams and girl, i am going to do that for you. as we are together as a class, we wonder how many boyfriends you've had so far..? they must be wonderful there. i know you are in a better place by far, but why did you leave us? there is so much more that i would have liked to say to you. you were one of the few friends i could talk and talk and talk to and you wouldn't think anything of it but to help me in any way you could. we were the best of friends. girl, i miss you like crazy already. i often find myself wondering how im going to make it through. now all i ask of you, is to help me through. wrap your loving arms around your family, friends, and community, to help us get through. we all miss your beautiful smile, your lovely laugh, and the wonderful presence you brought along with you everywhere. i love you SO much. and words cannot express how much that is. someday we will meet again. so this isn't a goodbye, it's a "see ya later pal!" because you would want it that way. <3 kevin, kathie, sue, marshall, grant, trevor, and all family, words cannot express my sympathy for your family. shauna, was a beautiful gift from God, and she is now a beautiful angel with God. i love you all and i hope that you let us know of anything we can do. we cannot stress that enough. *keep the faith, and be strong* love you guys. "Kevin, Kathy, and family, My heart is breaking for all of you at this terribly tragic time. Shauna was a wonderful young lady, and you must be proud of her. She was always smiling and happy every time I saw her. It was not uncommon on a summer evening for me to pull up to mom and dad's to see her bike in the yard, even if Ana wasn't there. She had no problem coming to visit and fit right in. She became an extended part of our family, and I feel her loss immensely. You raised a great and wonderful daughter, and all these kind words from everyone are just a reassurance of that. Let yourself lean on others and take comfort from them. The Lord will help to guide you and take care of you, as I know he is doing for Shauna. We will miss your infectious laughter and smile little lady! You will always be in our hearts."

"Shauna was an amazing friend. Even if you didn't know her well you certainly knew who she was. I was lucky enough to know her well. There are so many things that bring her to my mind. Drivers training with her and Emily Franzen was probably my favorite. We always car pooled down to Winona talking and singing the whole way. I loved her joy for friends and love for all animals. The little quirks she had just makes me laugh. She would put a chocolate chip cookie in her chocolate shakes, get a new phone and then break it a week later, scream your name across the hall just to say hi, and the funny laugh you would know anywhere. She will forever be missed and I'm so glad I got the chance to be her friend. She is and will always be cherished in my heart. I love you Shauna and my blessings go out to the families that have been hurt by this. Stay strong and keep those around you close. If you need a hug just call me. God bless <3"

We have some amazing memories of Shauna tubing down the Zumbro River, Shopping, going to the fair, or even watching her walk toward our to house, knowing her and Emily must be headed to either kwik trip or subway for lunch or a snack. She would go down with Em for a quick trip to pick something up at the drop of a hat.She was a true friend to my daughter, and for that we thank you for sharing her with Emily, and us.
