"I'm so Sorry to hear of your mothers passing . I did not relize that she was the same age of my father Paul Nahrgang . My sister and myself used to come to your house and got to stay over night . Then Kathy and Mary would come to our house. I remember your mother as being a very sweet lady. An when she would talk with us girls She would always close her eyes and smile. And she always had such words of kindness. Again I'm so sorry about your mothers passing, I know you will truely miss her.

"We were neighbors as we grew up and we were related. Ruth's grandfather and my grandfather were brothers. There was also relation-connection through our Mothers. Ruth was older than I but she and my sister Laura were about the same age.
I remember well her parents, Henry and Martha as well as Edna. Bob, her husband is also part of my memory. School days with the riding in the horse drawn bus and in the winter the horse drawn sled. The geese that her parents raised during the summer and the old hand operated clothes washing machine which stood in the kitchen of the house.
There are many more memories, but for now May God Bless Ruth's Children And Her Extended Family.
I wanted to attend Ruth's services, but my wife has been hospitalized with pneumonia. She is home again, but it is best to not travel."

"Kathy and family, I'm sorry to hear of the loss of a great mother, grandmother. She was a wonderful lady. I know I was pretty little when we would get together but I do know of her love. She love all who come into her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Just know she is in the best place, she's with her parents, husband. God bless you all in your time of sorrow.
Sincerely, Tina Jacob"

"I have had the privilege to have known Ruth both at LWM and at Watkins Manor-we shared so many laughs and had many interersting conversations. We knew many of the same people, shared the same religion and laughed together over life in gereral. She was one great lady and my sincere sympathy to her entire family who I know find comfort in the fact that she is now home with her Lord. May the many wonderful memories of the past bring you peace. God Bless."

"I just want to tell you how friendly and helpful Ruth was to my family when we were first looking at the Watkins Manor for my father, Donald Kuhlmann. My siblings and I came to look at the apartments and we happened to be looking at the one across the hall from Ruth. She invited us in to see how the place looked when it was all furnished. Needless to say, my father did move in across the hall and he thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Ruth. I know he will miss her company across the hall.
Sincerely,
Julie Schneider"

"To the Ruth Golish family, I remember an up north cabin fishing trip in the 1960's. Ruth and Bob, and your whole family welcomed me along (Denny asked me). I was always made to feel welcome, especially by Ruth; good food, warm smiles. I remember fishing especially crappies, northern pike, and at night bullheads off shore. Now I take my family up north fishing every year, and like Bob and Ruth there's always room for one more. I think of Denny from time to time. Until we meet again, Larry Greden"

Love always,

"During our high school years I spent a lot of time with Betty and I was always amazed at what a nice mother she had! She was so friendly and so easy to talk to that I really enjoyed being around her. The last time I talked to Ruth was about a year ago and even though she had aged some, she was still just as nice and spunky as I remembered her. I'm thinking about you Betty. If there's anything I can do, just call.
Sandy"

"My grandma was Ella Golish before she married George Buege. I am Ray Buege's daughter (one of Ella and George's sons). I remember meeting Ruth not all that long ago at a reunion at Farmer's Park. I do see her daughter Betty Lou now and then. My deepest sympathy to you as yet another member of the Golish family passes to heaven. My prayers are with each and every one of you. The Golish family in heaven is getting larger. Can you imagine the reunion they are having in heaven. We can all live knowing that we will all see her again when we make that journey to Christ's home."
Linda Franzwa wrote on Mar 12, 2009:
"My sympathies to the family, Ruth was definately one of a kind! I absolutely loved her, she was always great with the comments and one-liners! She was a patient where I worked and I always enjoyed her "visits" while she was there. Once her and her daughter came in and she made a comment that set me to laughing about it for months. She had to be one of the most fun "mom/grandma/aunt" that there is! She lived a full long life and all of you should be proud to have had her in your life.

"Steve, Ann and family,
We rejoice with you on the wonderful life that your Mother lived and the inspiration she was to each and everyone of you. Although we never met her personally, the stories tell us of her great faith in God and her love for her family and friends. What an example to live by she has been for all of us.
May you find comfort during this time of transition and may God bless you abundantly with showers of love from heaven!
You are in our thoughts and prayers!
Love,
Gary and Sue Bimmel and family
