"Once removed means there's an extra generation between us. LuAnn's mom was Elsie Pruka. Elsie's brother was Ed Pruka. He was my grandfather, his daughter Helen my mother. This makes me the same age as LuAnn's children, who are my second cousins. I did not know any of you, but you are family and dealing with a great loss. My sympathies to you. May you find strength in her memories. Sheila"
