"I love you and miss you Grandpa!"
"I love you Grandpa! I'll miss eating popcorn with you. I hope you enjoy the pictures I colored for you."
"To all friends and family, on behalf of our family I would like to thank you for your comments, thoughts and prayers. While we knew Dad was suffering from his illness for several years, it did come as a surprise for me to lose him so soon. I will always cherish my time with him, especially the fun he had with the grandkids. While it was difficult for him this last year to be mobile and to be able to visit us in Rice Lake, he found it in himself to spend a few days with us over Christmas (2008). I appreciate the energy he and Mom found and the effort they made to do that; I will remember it always. Again, thankyou to all. We are truly blessed to have each of you in our lives. Mike"
"To Janet and family, We just got the news about Glenn. We are in Mexico and wished we could be home for the service. We always had fun at the shop and willl miss his BS at coffee. Our gatherings at the Pioneer Club were fun too. You have our sympathy."
"I love you and miss you! Bye Bye."
"Jan, we send our sympathies to you at your loss of Glenn. I always remember Glenn by his "Here's you hat, what's your hurry" saying. He was always fun to be around. The days at Golden Hill and 37th Street are pleasant memories now. I also appreciated his work at RCS as treasurer there. May the Lord bless you and grace you with His presence during this time."
"Hi Mike, It's Dara from high school--I'm so sorry you have to bear your dad's death while you and he are relatively young. I know it's a huge shock whether the death was expected or not. May he rest in peace. Dara"
"Jeanine you and your family have my deepest sympathy. "
"Glenn was a great guy to visit with when they would come up here to Wisconsin to see Mike, Amy and the kids. Number of times he came over to our farm to see what was new and to talk farming and machinery. So sorry to hear the news, he was a classy guy. "
"So very sorry for all of your family. Glenn was a fun guy to visit with and always was there for us to finish the crops up in the spring. He loved to come to Wisconsin and see how different it was to farm our soil.Always loved his help and will miss his friendship dearly! He is at peace with no pain. What a great blessing for him."
