Joseph "Joey" Michael Laumb
November 22, 1982 - April 19, 2008

Joseph "Joey" Michael Laumb, 25, of Rushford died on Saturday, April 19, 2008, due to a motor vehicle accident east of Lanesboro, Minn.
Joey was born on November 22, 1982, in LaCrosse, Wis. to Mike and Rena (Montgomery) Laumb. He was raised in Rushford and graduated from Rushford - Peterson High School in 2001. Joey worked for Badger Corrugating in LaCrosse, Wis. and for Nordic Lanes in Rushford. He was a member of Rushford Lutheran Church and Sons of American Legion. Joey loved bowling, softball, hunting, fishing, dancing, and entertaining everyone.
He is survived by his parents; maternal grandparents: Donald and Carol Montgomery of Lewiston, Minn.; one brother, Jeffrey Laumb of Rochester, Minn.; and one sister, Alison (Christian) Dvorak of Rochester, Minn.; two nephews: Jackson and Jace; and by many cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: George and Bernice Laumb; two uncles: Jerry Laumb and James Porter, and one cousin, Teli Rae Laumb
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, at Rushford Lutheran Church with the Rev. Roger Michaelson officiating. Burial will be in the Rushford Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at Hoff Funeral Homes Rushford Chapel, and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
