"Marianne,
I am so sorry to hear of Jule's death. How lucky to have someone like him in my life from childhood to the past years. He had a smile and upbeat personality that was such a joy. My summer visits will not be the same without his jokes and interest in my life. He will be greatly missed.
May God comfort, bless and keep you.
Mary"

"Oh for the memories I have of my dear friend Jule. He was like an Uncle to me as when I was a youngster, he worked for my grandpa. He immediately became part of the family when he was hired. The only person (other than my parents) who gave me a(well deserved) spanking after I kicked one of the 2 buckets of milk he was carrying to the house following evening milking. But how I loved and respected him!!!! And so thankful he had Marianne, Tim, Lori and girls to make his life complete. We love all of you. K&R"

"Fond memories of childhood visits at "Uncle Julies" house with
Danelle, of his joking with us and taking us around Winona will always be with me. We fished in the Mississippi River and smoked the carp we caught. He told us he wrestled bears in a traveling circus. He was a special person, a fun uncle who enjoyed life. Remember the good times."

Danelle (Drazkowski) Kujak wrote on Feb 2, 2008:
"Jule was my 2nd "Dad" when I was growing up. He raised me from the time I was about 6 years old until I was a Jr. in High School (1974) in Winona. He was one of the most important person's of my life. He was a very special and wonderful man. Not only to me, but to my siblings, my sisters:
Debbie, Leilani, and Loralie
my brothers:
Gary, Denny and Jerry (although the last 2 sisters and last 2 brothers listed lived elsewhere during those years) We all loved him very much.
I have many, many fond memories of growing up because of having him in my life. The times of coon hunting, fishing, raising his coondog puppies, and I could go on and on!
He was even gracious enough to attend both my father's (Dennis Drazkowski) wake in 1997. And my mother's wake in 1998. Because he was a truly caring individual! I will always have him in my heart! And I hope he knows how much we all loved him.
Marianne, thank you for making his life happy, and caring for him the past years he wasn't well. Bless you, and know that I love you for that. I am sad that I did not see Jule much over the years, but he was always in my thoughts and heart, and always will be. Miss you dearly!
Love,
Danelle Kujak and family"

"Wow, where do I start? I am so sorry to hear this news. We always enjoyed going over to visit Marianne and Jule. You always had such a warm and wonderful place to visit out there on the farm. I know now that my mom and dad are visiting with Jule, and I am sure they are talking about Marianne's pickled beet and farm fresh eggs that she used to bring to may parents whenever they came to visit. Marianne, God Bless You as you go through this. It is plenty fresh in my mind since it has only been 6 weeks since I lost my mom. Know our thoughts and prayers are with you, and with Tim and Lori and the girls. We love you all very much."
