"I would like to add my condolences to those of others. When I would go home with Nikki on college breaks her dad was always so kind to me. I last saw him at Nikki's wedding and remember the look of love and pride on his face. I know he will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with Nikki and her family"
"Vic was always a special uncle in my mind. At any event that brought the family together, I would always look for Vic to say hi and catch up a little. My thoughts and prayers are with you all."
"Even though my wife and I only lived next door for about 8 years, we really enjoyed having Vic and Ginny as neighbors, especially with the uncertainty of having SO many college kids in the neighborhood. It was comforting to walk onto the porch, look a few feet to my left, (the houses are REALLY close together) and give a wave to Vic. Both my wife and I will miss you GREATLY."

"Vic was my next door neighbor when I grew up on East Fourth Street in Winona. He was like a "spare" dad to my sisters and I who were school day friends with Vicki, Pam, and Mary Lou. We loved you and will miss you. We know you are in a better place but there are sure a lot of folks down here that are sad for your passing. My heart goes out to Ginny and the girls."
"We will miss you Vic, you were a great man. You were calm and gentle, friendly, honest...and a good sport. (you never took it too hard when Carl & I beat you & Ginny at Euchre!!!!) You were a good fisherman and some of the things you taught me I will carry on. It was great fishing with you & sharing the boathouse. Even when you and I couldnt tell Carl anything, WE knew we were right!!! We will really, really miss you-it willnever be the same without you. I picture you & Carl up there honing your Euchre skills for my arrival...well, just to let you know...I am going to hone my skills too! We love you uncle Vic-and will always remember you."
