"Dear Family of Rev. Marvin H. Hanke: Pastor Hanke confirmed me on May 5, 1985 at Timothy Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Our Lord Jesus Christ blessed me and my family greatly through Rev. Hanke's service to Christ as our pastor. During this time of your bereavement, allow me to share with you the comfort and admonishment of God's holy Word: "Even to your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you." - Isaiah 46:4 "There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has ceased from his works as God did from His." -Hebrews 4:9-10. "'Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.' Thomas said to Him, 'Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?' Jesus said to him, 'I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'" - John 14:1-6 "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen." - 2 Corinthians 13:14."
