"I have enduring memories of the horses, camping out on the Hermanson land and their woodburning stove in the kitchen. Arvid and Rose were always very kind, hard working and humble people. I stayed with Arvid's dad in Winona while attending undergraduate. Thank you for all the fond memories"

"The one thing I remember about him was that he always had time to saddle the horses so we could go riding anytime we wanted. I have alot of memories of riding horse and sledding down the hill at the Hermanson farm."
