Age 46 of Stockton, Minnesota died Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Gunderson Hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Jason was born September 24, 1969 in Garden City, Michigan to Donnie Scrogham and Katherine (Frey) Scrogham.
Jason's passion in life was cars, he lived, breathed and thought about cars, all while turning it in to his career. He enjoyed spending time working on his cars, driving them just as hard, and taking people for rides at break neck speeds. Jason met his long time partner Dixie on September 24th, 1991 and built an amazing life and family along side her over the course of their relationship. His motivation in life was his children Dakota and Jasmine, and the drive to do right by not only himself but them as well. He liked to sit down and just play a board game from time to time with the family to spend quality time together. Jason also loved to be around his friends, he developed a close knit group of people that were frequently around and he truly enjoyed their company. Jason was also known for having the ability to throw out witty one liners and lighten the mood in just about any situation. In life Jason was always a positive person, and would have preferred to be remembered that way, even in death.
Jason is survived by his long time partner of 24 years, Dixie Brown and their children, Dakota Brown and Jasmine Brown. Jason is preceded in death by their daughter Kassidy.Jason is survived by his Aunt Jill of Michigan and Aunt Dottie and Aunt Caroline of Ohio. Extended family members are from Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and Florida. A visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the Hoff Celebration of Life Center, in Goodview. There will be a memorial pot luck a the Stockton Community Center at 1PM Friday, January 15, 2016. Private family interment, burial at Oakland Cemetery-Stockton. Please no flowers.

My husband Jon was out one night and got stuck in the ditch and called Jason in the middle of the night to come pull him out and jason didn't hesitate. That's how he was.
