"I have so many favorite memories of my dear cousin. What a epitome of strength. His perseverance in life put him in a place above and beyond many men. My heart felt sympathies go to his dear wife and all the children. I can hear his wonderful laugh and remember that look on his face when we were sharing stories at our reunions. He will be missed by many. Love & prayers to all."
"Gary was a life long friend, beginning in early grade school. He was always a source of joy and hilarity. It saddens me to see such a guy depart. Jo and Bruce my heart-felt sympathies and prayers are with you."

"Gary was a great guy and a friend to anyone he met. One of my favorite memories of him comes from deer hunting. We had pushed th timber north of bradford, Gary was the first blocker I came to. I had heard him shoot earlier, I asked him if he got one? His reply was " Just a little one!" I believe that deer is on the wall of the Gorder house. Our thoughts and prayers are with you guy!!!"
