"It was an honor to have been introduced to Buzz through my good friend Ricky Depallo. For many years I was happy to have friends like Buzz his brothers Chip and Chuck. We worked together in construction having a great little business and every day my greatest thing to look forward to was picking Buzz up getting coffee at the 7-11 and heading out to another fun and adventurous day, day after day. Buzz was talented in so many ways and to be his friend you could bet that if he liked you he'd have your back and never a bad word about anyone. He told everything the way it was and if you complained or shared negativity Buzz's best saying bro there's always the alternative. My best memory probably was when he had an airplane named after his Mom and after having cocktails at the Runway Bar at North Sperry Airport he asked me if and the rest of us would you like to go flying. Buzz was always up for a good time and this day was no different. We boarded the plane and he said to his pilot turn on the warning signs. No smoking, fasten your seatbelt well you know that didn't happen. We all lit up a cigarette, no seat belts, and we opened our Bud Lights. The pilot came on the intercom to report he was having problems with #1 engine and we had to descend. I said great first ride on the plane and we're going to crash. No worries though we lived to see the next day. I can never remember one bad day shared with Buzz. He brought care, love, warmth and a presence of hope for another tomorrow. You are gone Buzz and over the last few years I've been ill yet not a day went by that I didn't think of the times we shared together, I will never let a day pass by without a thought and prayer for a fellow serviceman, a man of integrity, a caring man, and most of all a true friend who could be counted on for his word and charitable and sharing nature. I have so much more I could write and say yet the most important thing I would like to share is that never will I forget you Buzz and know that you were loved, appreciated and RIP until I get to be with you again and relight our friendship with a cold Bud Light and know that until that day I will cherish the memories so many that I was fortunate to share here with you. I am so sad as well as so many of your friends and family are at losing such a special man and friend. God Bless you and forever may your soul RIP."

"I have so many happy and fun memories of you. Your 21st surprise birthday at our house with your Mom,she was so proud of her boys!!, weekends at Fire Island with everyone sleeping all over the place and our kids trying to walk among all the sleeping teenagers, Cooking for you and Bobby and Chuck at my house when I returned from work and you were waiting with food for me to make, coming home one evening and you meeting me at the door and dragging me by the arm into the bedroom, pushing me onto the bed to show me the mirrors you helped Ed put on the ceilng. You were like a big Teddy Bear. Chuck dressed up like Santa and coming with you to my house for my kids on Christmas Eve. You were special, loving, considerate and I enjoyed spending time with you. RIP - you will be missed by so many. Thoughts and prayers are with you, Chip and your Family."
