Brayden S. Springer, 23, of Davenport, and formerly of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at his home in Davenport, Iowa.
A public graveside service and burial celebrating Brayden's life will be held at 10 A.M., Saturday, March 12, 2016, from the Buckhorn Cemetery, rural Maquoketa, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 P.M. on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa.
Brayden Scott Springer was born on September 1, 1992 in Dubuque, Iowa, to Randy Rae and Cindy Lou (Brecht) Springer. He graduated from Maquoketa Community High School in 2011 and had worked for Spartan Manufacturing in Maquoketa for a year and for the past three months for The Bedding Group in Rock Island, Illinois as a nail gunner and box maker.
Brayden was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos. He cherished his pit bulls, enjoyed cooking, wrestling, and spending time with his family.
Those left to honor Brayden's memory include his mother and step-father, Cindy and James Ryan of Maquoketa, IA; his father and step-mother Randy and Jean Springer of Maquoketa, IA; his maternal grandmother Dixie Dietzman of Maquoketa, IA; paternal grandmother Elsie Springer of Maquoketa, IA; brothers Logan (Tiffany) Springer of Onslow, IA, Mason Springer of Maquoketa, IA, Jameson Ryan of Maquoketa, IA and Breccan Ryan of Maquoketa, IA; a sister Alexis Springer of Maquoketa, IA; step-brother Eric Clark of TX; step-sister Heather Ryan of Davenport, IA; aunt Debbie Brecht of Maquoketa, IA, and aunt Kim Blake of Dubuque, IA. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Franklin Springer, maternal grandfather Kenneth Dietzman, and his uncle Scott Brecht.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Brayden Scott Springer memorial fund has been established.
