My Beautiful Brother
A poem from one brother to another
inspired by the love of God
"Some of the greatest works in
My Kingdom here on Earth
have been done from sick beds,
prison cells, and desolate places.
Instead of resenting the
limitations of a weaken body,
search for my way in the midst
of every circumstance.
The limitations you experience
have a purpose. You are free
when you desire to be close to
me."

Joyous, Happy and Free
God my Creator, You have so
generously blessed me with the mystery
and miracle of life. The wonder of it all fills
me with a deep sense of praise and
thanksgiving.
During these short years here on
this Earth, I have witnessed over
and over again that death and life
is an inseparable partner in this
our earthy dance.
Lord you now have all of me - as
thy will be done.
I am relieved as I deliver my spirit
to You, I am no longer bound by
my body. I have cast aside all my fears
as I surrender my earthly presence to You.
I take solace knowing I will not be forgotten
in those that seek the Truth.
As St. Francis said, "For it is by
dying we gain life." And so it is done.
Gratefully, I give up my soul to You,
to be with You for all
Eternity.

"You were the most beautiful person I was blessed to have known. Even though circumstances kept me from visiting you, I always kept you in my prayers. You will be dearly missed. I will never forget the most handsome smile you always had and your great and sensitive nature you always possessed. God bless you, Andy. My deepest condolences to the family."
