Carrie Beth Bishop, 38, of Fort Dodge passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. there will be a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. Burial will be at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Carrie is survived by her mother, Julie (Doug) Spillman of Fort Dodge; Gregg (Cathy) Bishop of Twin Lakes; brothers, Jason (Stephanie) Bishop of Fort Dodge; Thomas "TJ" Bishop of El Paso, TX; Kyle (Ashley) Bishop of Fort Dodge; step-brothers, Jeremy Flatgard of Fort Dodge; Keegan Janeski of Hawaii; Jeremy Spillman of Ankeny; step-sisters, Pam Flatgard of Twin Lakes; Jamie Spillman of Ankeny; grandmother, Evelyn Millea of Fort Dodge and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Tom Millea; aunt, Beth Millea; grandmother, Arlene Bishop; grandparents, LeRoy and Bonnie Caldwell.
Carrie Beth Bishop was born July 16, 1977 in Fort Dodge. She attended schools in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1997. Carrie worked for Taco Tico for over eight years. She was involved in various adult organizations throughout Fort Dodge. She loved to travel with her family and hang out with her friends, especially singing karaoke. Carrie was a Minnesota Vikings fan and enjoyed watching Dale Earnhardt Jr. on NASCAR.
