Dale Gorman, 85, of Venice, FL, passed away on April 30, 2016. Born on August 31, 1930 to parents Rexford & Genevieve Gorman in Erie, PA.
Dale owned and operated his own business in Edinboro, PA. He was also a past member of the Edinboro Lions Club and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Edinboro, PA. He enjoyed playing cards, Shuffle Board, fishing, hunting but he especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Dale was a husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend and he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Dale is survived by his beloved wife of 65 1/2 years Dorothy; son, Dan (Paula) Gorman; daughter, Darlene (David) Kraut; brother, Howard Gorman; grandchildren, Kevin (Kara) Gorman, Denise (Matt) Casey of Tallahassee, FL, Matthew (Olga) Kuffer, and Kari Poland; step-grandchildren, Rob and Joe Mellesh; 9 great-grandchildren; 5 step great- grandchildren and cousin Don Gorman.
Preceded in death death by his daughter, Donna Dale DeMille.
