LeRoy Toohey wrote on Jul 2, 2016:

"Mom, words can't express how I felt when you told me you had cancer years ago. I remember feeling crushed when I hung up the phone and today the feelings are infinitely worse. You always had my back even when I was wrong. You taught me how to be a good person through your kindness and patients. You have been a great companion to dad, mother and friend which so many will never forget. I am happy that your pain is over and my pain will shrink over time but today this sucks. I could never image what you went through but I am glad you fought as long as you did. Your pain meant that you could be with us a little longer. I know this is selfish but I realize you deserved to rest. I can only hope I was a good son to you. This is not good bye but until we see each other again. "
