Delores Mae Tatro
December 7, 1932 - July 8, 2016

Delores Mae Tatro, of Antigo, died Friday, July 8, 2016 at her daughter's home under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was 83 years old. She was born on December 7, 1932 in Antigo, a daughter of John and Regina (Schisel) Markgraf. She married LeRoy "Shorty" Tatro on July 30, 1953 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Phlox. He preceded her in death on August 2, 2013.

Delores was a devoted wife, loving mother and caring grandma, she was patient, kind and true to all. She shared her love for the Lord by being a shining light to others.

She enjoyed gardening, baking, bowling, golfing and cross country skiing. She loved the outdoors and her canine companion, Maddie. She was known as "Grandma" to many and was a friend to all. She will be remembered for her generosity.

She was an owner and bookkeeper of LeRoy Tatro and Sons excavation company from 1954 to1998.

Delores was a member of St. Joseph Holy Family Catholic Church, St. Ann's Society and the Devine-Menting American Legion Auxiliary Unit 525 all in Phlox. She was also a member of the Hospital Auxiliary and was a religious education teacher for 15 years.

Survivors include seven children, Victoria (Robert) Prelipp of Birnamwood, Scott (Ann) Tatro of Antigo, Tina Tatro of Antigo, Todd (Michelle) Tatro of Antigo, Lea Tatro of Birnamwood, Alaina (David) Reynolds of Wisconsin Rapids and Cal Tatro of Antigo; 17 grandchildren, Christina, Ronnda, Teejay, Steven, Mandy, Christopher, Dakota, Cortland, Nicolas, Trey, Sophia, Travis, Devin, Lacy, Katrina, Tim and Kelsey; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; six sister, Maxine Rice of Ocala, FL, Mary Lee Jensen of Antigo, Sandy (Carl) Janssen of Neenah, Sharon (Richard) Powell of Antigo, Deborah Thom of Antigo and Teri (Tom) Cernoch of Antigo; two brothers, Gerald (Phylis) Markgraf of Antigo, David (Linda) Markgraf of Florida.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by three sons, Raymond, Johnny and Robert; and two brothers, Ronny and Gregory.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 15 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Holy Family Catholic Church in Phlox with Reverend Charles Hoffmann and Deacon Tom Hartman officiating. Visitation will be Thursday at the Bradley Funeral Home beginning at 4 p.m. and concluding with a parish wake service at 7 pm. Visitation Friday will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church.
