Linda Marie Baum, 48, of Keokuk, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at her home.
Linda was born September 6, 1967, the daughter of Donald F. and Mary K. Lucas Baum.
A lifelong resident of Keokuk, Linda was employed at the Park Ridge Workshop in Montrose for twenty-five years. She was baptized at All Saints Catholic Church. She loved her family, friends, and pets. She enjoyed fishing, Special Olympics, computer, board games, crafts, cooking, puzzles, and scrapbooks. She loved to go bowling and enjoyed Special Needs Prom. Linda had a tree that she decorated at the holiday. She was an avid Cubs Fan. She loved to be outside and she loved life.
Linda is survived by her mother, Mary Baum of Keokuk, Iowa; five brothers and one sister: Randy (Carol) Baum of Triangle, Virginia; Mike Baum of Keokuk, Iowa; Steven (Kelly) Baum of Queen City, Texas; Mary Jo Bowen of Keokuk, Iowa; David (Cassie) Baum of Keokuk, Iowa and Andy (LeAnn) Baum of Keokuk, Iowa; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews; special friends: Calvin Timmerman, Dr. Veeder and crew of Carthage and Macomb, Nicole and Mark Otte, and Tyler Newberry.
Linda is preceded in death by her father, sister, Cindy Eppers; nephew, Joshua Thomas Baum; three siblings: Jerri Ann, Kevin and Vincent, paternal grandparents Earl and Grace Baum, maternal grandparents Jerry and Maxine Lucas.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 15, 2016, at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Centers at 1212 Concert Street with Sim Tolbert officiating. Visitation will be held after 3:00 PM on Thursday July 14, 2016 at 1212 Concert Street with family meeting friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Memorials may be made to Lymphoma Society or Special Needs Prom.
