WILTON, Iowa - Rhonda S. Janssen, 51, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. The Reverend Tim Leathers of the Heartland Church in Wilton of officiate. Burial will take place in Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton. Visitation will be held from 3 until 7 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2016, at the funeral home. Rhonda was born on June 6, 1965, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Allen Conrad and Janice Doetsch Oltmanns. She married Darrell Janssen on September 16, 1989, in Anamosa.

Rhonda was a registered nurse with visiting nurses. She was an occupational nurse at Gerdau Wilton Steel Mill and was a member of the Wilton EMS Group.

She was a member of Heartland Fellowship Church in Wilton. She helped run the family business, Fire Safety Consulting. She loved to garden with her grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Darrell Janssen of Wilton, three children, Matthew Conrad and wife, Amy, of Davenport, Kahli Daufeldt and husband, Quentin, of Muscatine, and Mitchell Janssen of Wilton; seven grandchildren, Amelia, Khloe, Maxton, Dexter, Cael, Camryn, and Brynlee; her mother and step father, Janice and Harvey Oltmanns of Wilton; and six brothers, Ross Conrad of Durant, Rick Conrad of Solon, Randy Conrad of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Brian Gearhart of Cedar Rapids, Brent Gearhart of Horn Lake, Mississippi, and Scott Oltmanns of Anamosa.

She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Allen and Peg Conrad, and her step brother, Bruce Gearhart.
