Ethel Marsden
September 21, 1926 - August 11, 2016

Ethel Marsden age 89, of Ames, Iowa died at Green Hills Health Care Unit on August 11, 2016. A celebration of life memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. August 27, at First United Methodist Church 6th and Kellogg in Ames.

Ethel was born in Boone County Iowa, on September 21, 1926 the daughter of Albert and Edna Miller. She graduated from Ogden High School and attended University of Iowa. She married Clement Marsden and the couple lived in, Ogden, Harlan and Eldora before retiring to Ames. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Ames, PEO Chapter HN and Ames Choral Society.

She is survived by her children, Jean Marsden of Ames, Paul (Cherry) Marsden of Ankeny, Hugh (Sheri) Marsden of Ames, daughter in law Rebecca Rosenbaum and a sister Lura Treloar of Cedar Falls, grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Ethel is preceded in death by, her parents, husband, Clement, son Steven, 3 brothers and two sisters.
