"Doug, Sharla I'm at a total loss. Shayne was an inspired young man. He knew his direction and followed through toward it. I remember Shayne as a Scout in Troop 14 and the summer camps I had the privilege to attend with him. There were a lot of laughs and a lot of fun. Shayne's "drummer" beat his own rhythm and Shayne followed. Now his "drummer" has called Shayne to his side. May he find peace and happiness with "Him". Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. May G-d keep all of you in his hands."

"No words or emotions can express how much I love you and miss you! A beloved son, brother and friend to many, taken away from such a negligible act of others. You inspired and touched everyone's life and are forever in our hearts. I love and miss you so much. Rest in peace my beloved son, and dance with the Angels! Forever, Love, Mom"
