"I grew up on the same block as Kathryn and Billie and my parents still live there. They were so very kind and my sister and I used to love visiting them. My prayers and thoughts are with you."

Marta Murphy wrote on Sep 16, 2016:

"To all my cousins and their families: We will miss Kathryn's smile. She always liked a good laugh. How many Christmas dinners did she cook for all of us. She took care of grandpa Wheelock until he died. She was indeed a wonderful woman. Now she will be in heaven with her family and her friend Billie. God bless you all in this time of sorrow. "

Veronica Varnum Guthrie wrote on Sep 15, 2016:

"Kathryn was such a sharp minded lady. I remember at my brother Fred's funeral visiting with her and surprised she remembered me. Someone had saked how young she was and she replyed "49"!! Then laughed and asked if we believed that! She was 94! REST IN PEACE DEAR KATHRYN AND ENJOY YOUR HEAVENLY HOME."

Betty Gordon, Jack's widow, farkle leader wrote on Sep 13, 2016:

"Kathryn was such a sweetheart! I enjoyed visiting with her at care center. She even played FARKLE dice game with us on occasions. I always wore a hat; she took me to her room to show me the hat SHE made; a little one she was so proud of. My sympathies to you all during this time. May God comfort you now and in the days, months, and years ahead. RIP KATHRYN ;)"
