David Fitts wrote on Mar 18, 2009:

"My dear friend Orv's name is written in my Bible next to one of his favorite Psalms. He means so much to me. Orv was a delightful member of our Wednesday morning Bible study at the Seattle Golf Club and will be missed. The scripture is Psalm 103:1-2 "Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits." I love Orv and will always remember his gentle spirit and infectious smile. So sorry I cannot be at the service on Sunday. I am leaving on Saturday to California for National Religious Broadcasters convention. May the Lord be with you all. Let us rejoice that Orv is now with the Lord and his darling wife Myrtle. Blessings to you. David Fitts"

Elmer & Martha Lindquist wrote on Mar 18, 2009:

"We were new friends at Crista. We met while working on our flower bed. Flowers were a common meeting ground for all of us. Orv disclosed his Norwegion heritage and I said we were both Swedish. Orv's reply was, "That's too bad!" We enjoyed his quick wit. Bon Voyage, Orv."

Joyce Mays wrote on Mar 18, 2009:

"Dear family. You are a dear family and Orv loved each of you. It seems that these times of loss are hard, because we miss Orv so much. Memories are precious, however. Thank you for including me in your family. May you be richly blessed now and in the future. Love to all, Joyce"
