"Sorry it took a little longer for me to post this, but I also had a blast working with Keith at the Winona Kmart. He was one of the best managers at ANY job that I have ever had. I graduated high school with his daughter Melissa in 1991. Keith was always willing to help out with anything that he could. One memory in particular, it was a saturday night in the summer of 98, a huge thunderstorm hit knocking out the power to the store and most of Winona. Because I had biked in Keith gave me a ride home, along with a girl form the service desk. He was always willing to go that extra mile for you. And now that I am a Manager at the Casino in Milwaukee, I try to pattern my managerial style after Keith's. Even long after I left Kmart, anytime that I stopped in, he would always take a few minutes to chat about the Twins, Vikings, Brewers or just how life was going. He will be missed, but will live on in the memory of those lives he touched. RIP Clock 303"

"I knew Keith only on the golf course at Westfield where he was one of our regular bunch the past few years. He was a smart golfer and generous in his encouragement. He loved to play, and he might have loved even more the time around our pop table afterwards where he would sip his Pepsi and enjoy our talk. He was a gentle man full of joy. We'll miss him. My heartfelt condolences to his family and other friends. "

"Keith was my manager for several years at the Winona Kmart. He was kind and level headed. You knew that if you had a problem that you could talk about it with him and not get in trouble. You also knew you could have fun there. Work yes, but be a little mischievous or silly and he would join in. It was always a pleasure working when he was on shift. I'm very sorry to hear that he passed. "

"Kieth use to tell me about his dogs all the time saying they were his kids and just adore them. He was there for me when my cat and my dog had to be put down. Kieth was the best manger and the best friend someone could have. I always had fun working with him at Kmart. I can see him at Kmart watching football with the other employees in the electronics department. He would try to explain the game to me but I could never get it."

Brian Knobloch wrote on Nov 15, 2016:

"Keith was a great friend and mentor to many people that worked with and for him over the past several years. When he wasn't working there was a good chance he was at the golf course playing the game he enjoyed so much. Keith spoke very highly of his loving wife Joy, children and grandchildren. Keith truly enjoyed life to the fullest and will be sadly missed by everyone who had the opportunity to get to know him."
