"To Jeri's Family - I am very sorry for your loss. I think we were in the ninth grade when Jeri and I first met and became fast friends. Throughout high school, Jeri always made me laugh and brightened my day - a very uplifting spirit, even in bad times. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing, and regretful that we did not connect more in the past few years - I always thought we would some day. I do know how proud she was of her children - we corresponded in the last several years and that was very evident. With deepest sympathy, Kate McLellan"

"To the family of Jeri, I know this is very hard but, I too went through the mixed emotions when my Great Grandma Lillian died. I just want you all to know that my family is praying for you and that we loved Jeri as much as you do."

"I cannot say how sad I am to hear about this. Jeri was a true, true friend. For years she shared her mother with me, I jokingly called her my second mother, MA. And that was what Jeri was to me, my SIS. She was closer than a friend-as she was just like a sister. And I loved her dearly. I moved away years ago, but never lost touch with my Sis. I am so sorry to the girls, you were her life and she was so proud of all of you. Janel and Jeff, words cannot say how sorry I am for you. I know how it feels to lose your sister, because today I did too...she was amazing. Thanks to all of you for allowing me to be a part of your family back in the day. We sure had fun. I will always treasure those days. May God comfort you all. I'm so, so sorry. It is times like this when I hate being so far away. Know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all. "
