Beverly Ann Stuart, 49, passed away on Monday, November 14 at the University of Washington Medical Center after a courageous battle with Leukemia.
Born on January 11, 1967 to Gilbert and Florence in Mitchell, South Dakota, Beverly was an elementary school secretary for the Federal Way Public Schools where she dedicated her life to helping students and their families. She was a strong-willed, humorous and joyful soul who enjoyed the outdoors, trying new things, and spending time with her daughter.
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Shelby Simonson; her sister, Nancy Lenhart; her brother, Douglas Holiman; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 26 at 2pm at the Federal Way Community Center. Please wear colorful clothing instead of black to help celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
