In loving memory of

Elizabeth Anne Schrader
April 15, 1956 - November 29, 2016

Elizabeth Anne Schrader, formerly of Bellevue, Washington, would like all her family, friends, and adoring fans everywhere to celebrate that, while she has left the planet, not to worry: she has gone home. And life in heaven is unbelievable.

Elizabeth was born on Income Tax Day, April 15, 1956, to Casey "Kim" and Mary Lou Kindle in Salinas, California. She joined an older brother, Keith Kindle, and a few years later celebrated the arrival of her younger brother Paul Kindle, her compadre through childhood. She liked sharing her birthday with American taxpayers everywhere because, she often explained, it made remembering her special day a mandatory event.

Lizzy loved music nearly as much as she loved people. When she married Tim Schrader after her high school graduation in 1974, the North Salinas High School chorale, of which she was a four-year member, sang at their wedding. Years later, she sang in church and community choirs in Bellevue and Seattle.

The real loves of her life are Elizabeth's daughters, Kimberly Ryan Schrader, who is surprisingly 30 and lives in Ventura, California, and Katie Allan Schrader, who preferred heaven after trying things out here for four months. Lizzie was reluctant to leave Kimberly but is joyful to see Katie once more.

A perfect day for Liz included scrapbooking with glitter and ribbon, sharing tea and cake with a friend, and watching Alfred Hitchcock movies. She loved Christmas more than anyone.

In her heart, Lizzie said, she looked like Michelle Pfeiffer, but really, in her head, she was more like Tinkerbell.

She hated bullies.

After her daughters, some of the people Lizzie loved most included Mel Gibson, Eliza Doolittle, her nephew Brian Kindle of Portland, Oregon; nieces Laura and Mary Kindle of Salinas, California; nieces Cara Johnson of Puyallup, Washington and Erin Schrader of Nantucket, Massachusetts; Tim and Rod and David Schrader and their families; and many old and new friends everywhere. No one who met her was a stranger for long, and those of us blessed to call her friend will always miss her and remember
