James Errett Kroeter
November 4, 1962 - December 12, 2016

James Errett Kroeter, 54, of Bellevue, WA passed away on Monday, December 12th peacefully at home after a courageous battle with prostate cancer.

Born on November 4, 1962 to Ann Kelly Gardner Kroeter and James Jay Kroeter in Palo Alto, CA., he was the oldest brother to John Kelly Kroeter and Jay Gardner Kroeter. He was a 1980 graduate of Pomona High School in Arvada, CO and went on to attend the University of Colorado earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and his Masters of Business Administration. He married Sheri Kroeter August 17, 2010.

Errett was most recently the VP of Marketing at Bluetooth, SIG and had an accomplished career in technology marketing for multiple companies including Lantronix, Gateway, IBM, Qwest and IE. Errett was revered by all who worked with and for him. He had a gift for being not only an incredible mentor but also an amazing friend to his colleagues. He was an avid sailor, golfer, skier, mountain bike rider and foodie. His passion for travel took him on many adventures all across the globe throughout his short life. Errett had a profound effect on hundreds of people and he will be missed.

The memorial service will be held on Friday, December 30th at 1:00pm at Highlands Community Church, 3031 NE Tenth Street in Renton, WA. A reflection reception will be held immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Errett's favorite charity, The Wounded Warrier Project, in his honor. His grandfather was in the Air Force and his father in the Navy, so veterans held a special place in his heart.
