"Grandpa Kenny! You married my grandma not long before I was born and even though you were my ?step grandpa? you were the only grandpa I ever really had and loved me like a grandfather would love his first granddaughter. I remember your tattoo?s, your gold bracelets & necklaces and you blowing smoke out your nose like a dragon. And I wish I could hear you laugh one more time. You were there for me when I needed it and I won?t ever forget it. Every year on Nov 1st I always think of you and how you were quite the Scorpio. No wonder you loved Eagles so much, in spirit you are one. It became difficult to get ahold of you there at the end and I should?ve taken it more seriously the last time we saw you when you stated while smoking your cigarette you wouldn?t be alive next year. Thought it was just you being the grumpy old man that you were. I still don?t know what the cause of your passing was and didn?t know you had passed till weeks later. I would?ve been there if I had known what was going on and I?m sure you knew that. The silver lining is that you a grandma Gene are happily together again and hopefully looking down on me and your 2 beautiful great grandson?s Ezra & Atlas. Thank you for being the grandpa I would?ve otherwise never of had. "
