"Tony was a valued volunteer at Gocio for many years. Rain or shine he was here to help with the children. Many of the students knew him for their whole elementary career. Last year Tony received the senior volunteer of the year award for his dedicated service here at Gocio. Tony has made many friendships here over the years and will be missed deeply by our students and staff. Heartfelt sympathy for Tony's family, he was one in a million!!"

Linda Franklin wrote on Jan 4, 2017:

"Our deepest sympathies to the family. My Gocio granddaughter was very sad when she learned of his passing yesterday. Personally, I met him once last year, and it was immediately evident that he was such a joy for the children. "
