Bob made many friends along the way.

Bob married the love of his life, Phyllis Joyce Ostert, on December 23, 1956 at the First Lutheran Church in Maquoketa, a 60th anniversary milestone he was especially proud of. To this union five children were born: Deb, Phillip, Barb, Linda and Kim.Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing for Catfish, playing cards and telling stories. He especially loved spending time with his family.

Those left to honor Bob's memory include his wife, Phyllis Brinker of Maquoketa, IA; children Deb (Greg) Sieverding of Bellevue, IA, Phillip (Margie) Brinker of Maquoketa, IA, Linda (special friend Ronnie Protz) Portz ofClinton, WI, and Kim (Tony) Schulte of Oxford, IA; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. "Although he left us with many great memories and will be missed for many more reasons than can be named. I personally will miss my annual birthday call. Whether it was the traditional HappyBirthday or the "monkey" version, it always made me feel special for him to take the time to call every year and sing to me and the same for Race. I missed his first call this year and before I could call back for the live version, he left me a message singing to me which I still have and will be able to cherish in the years to come. I'm thankful to have been blessed with a Papa as amazing & loving as Papa Binker. All Our Love Papa, "Your" Tracey and "George"(Race)"
