Allyn L. Kroning

Allyn L. Kroning, 87, of St. Charles died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Hospital - St. Mary's Campus in Rochester.
Allyn was born October 25, 1929 in Winona to Louis W. and Neta (Loppnow) Kroning. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1951 - 1953. Allyn and Erna Boysen were married on March 28, 1951. They made their home in St. Charles. Allyn purchased Luehman Implement which became Kroning Implement, later partnering with his brother Ron.
Survivors include his wife Erna, a son Terry (Cindy) of Rochester, two grandchildren, Eric and Jenna Kroning and his brother Ron of Rochester. Allyn was preceded in death by a son Mark and his daughter Kathy Glover.
There will be no funeral. Burial of Allyn's cremated body will take place in the spring at Berea Moravian Cemetery in rural St. Charles.
