"When I think about Greta, I think about silly, teenage things...probably because we WERE silly teenagers! She always had so much energy!! She LOVED Dr. Pepper!! That's probably why she HAD so much energy! I remember walking home from Jr. High and the tornado sirens went off. We were a couple of blocks from my house and we ran--up hill, 2 blocks! She made it to the phone and called home, had just enought time to yell, "Mom, I'm at Rhonda's" and the phone went dead. Crazy stuff like that, but one funny? weird? thing. We would always talk about what we wanted to name our kids. Mary Hale always said she'd name her daughter Pandora...crazy, right? (She didn't) but Greta always said she'd name her daughter Shannon!! Well, after she met and married Ray...well you see how THAT wasn't gonna work!! See, silly stuff, that's what I'm going to choose to remember...the silly stuff. For the rest of the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all, God Bless.
