Renee Lee (Knox) Grandon
May 15, 1957 - February 25, 2017

Renee Lee (Knox) Grandon was born May 15, 1957 in Waterloo, Iowa. She was the second child born to Albert (Fat) Knox and Arlene Nolting Knox. Renee attended the Denver Schools and graduated in 1977. She went on to attend what is now Hawkeye Community College where she got her AA in Accounting.

Renee helped several businesses enter the computer world through her employment with Manpower Temporary Services. She was part of the team who helped to open the Walmart in Waterloo where she worked for several years. She retired in 1999 due to a physical disability. Renee married Paul D. Grandon on June 11, 2003.

Renee is proceeded in death by: her brother Kirk Lee Knox in infancy, her dad, Albert (Fat) Knox, in 1970 when she was only 13 years old and her mother, (Arlene Knox) in 2005.

She is survived by her husband Paul Duane Grandon of Evansdale, Iowa. Paul's three children Rachelle, Rebecca and Reuben. Paul's mother, (Marilyn Grandon), Paul's brothers David(Mary), Tim(Kim), Tom(Linda) and Joel(Luann) and their families. Renee is also survived by several cousins scattered across our nation whom she had lost contact with. And, Renee is survived by her Saint Mark's Church Family.

She will be missed greatly by all who loved her and were touched by her life.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2017, St Marks United Methodist Church 610 S. Evans Rd. Evansdale, Iowa 50707.
