"To my Uncle Wade and Cousins, I want to express my deep sadness for your loss. I have so many fond memories of my Aunt Marian over the years. In the early years, it was the times I spent staying at your home with Kris on summer vacation. In these later years, it was the wonderful fun times we spent when she came to visit us down here. We frosted cookies, laughed and reminisced. My mom also loved her and had a wonderful, close relationship with her since they were very young. They had many fun stories over the years. Ironically, she was my godmother and her service is on my birthday. I pray you all find much comfort in knowing she is at peace now with no pain or fear. May you find peace and comfort also, in your many beautiful memories of her over the years. You're in my thoughts and prayers. With love, Jenny Herling Whiting"

Peggy Bodway wrote on Mar 25, 2017:

"I playfully called her "Auntie Em" (Elenor Marian). Many happy memories decorating Christmas cookies with her in Waukesha. She was so proud that she won "best cookie" that she saved it all year, on top of her frig and brought it the following year to remind us that she was the winner. What a character. She always had the gals in stitches. To Uncle Wade and my cousins, may your hearts heal soon and be replaced with with warm and happy memories. Until we all meet again.... Love Peggy (Herling) Bodway"
